New Studio Space

John recently moved to a new studio space. He hasn't changed his pics on The Cartoonist Studio yet, but here is a sneak peek.

One of the nicest things about the new studio is the beautiful second story view of Lake Michigan. Yesterday, a boat went by the windows with a man sitting up on the top like the beginning of Pirates of the Caribbean. (The boat was on a trailer and headed for the marina)

Oh, and a big "Thank You!" to all of you who turned out to visit John in his new studio on the Behind The Arts artwalk last weekend! It was great to meet all of you and talk cartooning!

  1. Nice locale, John. Wish my little "ink well" looked half as good. — ME

  2. Seeing all this leaves me with one question, John. Do you need a live in intern?.. =D

  3. @ Jeremy - Need? Yes!! Can afford? Unfortunately, no....

Actually, one of our hopes for this space is to double as a place that visiting family (and the occasional cartoonist) can crash, as we have no guest rooms at our house :-)

@ Mike - I'm sure your "ink well" is lovely :-)
